Projects

March - July 2022
In the Night

The final for my second year at AIE. I created the dialogue system and inventory/stealing scripts for this project, which as a game about learning information from NPCs and stealing artifacts constitutes a lot of the gameplay. This project helped to teach me how to work with a team of designers and artists, and how to do some design work as well as this project was very design heavy.

Boneyard Bash!

Aside from the assets, I made this game completely on my own. With familiar topics like character controls and Unity animations, to new concepts like particle systems and implementing achievements, this game was a great learning experience while being a joy to work on!

Shots 'n Shots

The final for my first year at AIE, this was my first experience with a first-person shooter. As the sole programmer on a team of ten students, I was responsible for all of the scripting, which included everything from a standard player controller to AI navigation and my first experience with Raycasting.

Dog Days

For Global Game Jam 2021, I worked with a team of three people to create this casual adventure game. As one of my teammates was a much more experienced programmer, this game was an excellent learning experience, in which I was taught about particle effects and streamlining a player controller. I was also able to show off my skills with Unity animations, and got to teach myself how to implement sound effects in the Unity engine.
